GoodFuels is the pioneering market leader in advanced and sustainable biofuels for shipping and heavy land transportation. GoodFuels develops, sources and sells truly sustainable biofuels that can achieve 75-100% reductions in CO2 emissions and eliminate sulphur emissions.
Heavy transport is a heavily polluting industry, emitting vast quantities of CO2 and sulphur, and the emissions of both shipping and heavy rail/road transport are set to rise substantially over the next decades putting a massive pressure on population health and the environment.
GoodFuels develops, sources and sells truly sustainable drop- in biofuels fuels which require no engine or infrastructure modifications and are therefore instantly actionable and scalable. GoodFuels’ biofuels are made from the most sustainable feedstock sources available and do not compete with food production nor stimulate deforestation. The GoodFuels biofuels are supervised and approved by an independent sustainability board.
In parallel GoodFuels promotes an important push for sustainable shipping through its GoodShipping program. This branded program enables companies to replace their shipper’s fossil fuels for their transport with advanced clean biofuels, thus demonstrating to the market that they are integrating their company’s purpose throughout the supply chain.
The growth capital investment of Social IV is aimed to support product development and international roll out of GoodFuels. Impact targets include measuring avoided CO2 and SOx emissions, measuring the creation of new feedstock sources and growing the volume of new clients for GoodShipping.
Dirk Kronemeijer, Founder & CEO of Goodfuels: “We found our perfect partner in Social Impact ventures: they are fully mission-aligned to radically clean up shipping and they believe in growth potential of a clean shipping & heave transport sector: they deeply understand our business fundamentals, because more business means more impact”.
